Together, we will help you see more clearly, to effectively leverage the communication skills & habits that foster trust, and risk-taking within your teams.

I work with dynamic teams, people ops, and technical professionals in technology, engineering, and finance organizations.

 

Team & Groups

Team and Group Workshops: We’ll put in the “work” in my workshops. We uncover the communication skill and relationship trust gaps in your teams, and face the challenges in-session. We’ll make friends with discomfort, and do it together, like how a team should.

  • 3-12 month Leadership Development Program & System: It’s not just a curriculum or linear program. I develop a system of communication tools and leadership mindsets with your team’s growth goals, and organizational strategy in mind. Invest the time for effective habits to kick in, and integrate into your team culture. Ideal for between 10-30 leader cohorts.

    Clients: Duke University’s 6-month WILD (Water Innovation & Leadership Development) Executive Education Program, Microsoft Canada’s Allyship skills initiative

  • Conference and Team-Building Workshops: Ideal for groups between 15 and 150 people, I develop half- to full-day workshops as part of larger events or initiatives. Participants accelerate meaningful connections with each other, and take away skills that they can use right away, long after the event.

Individuals

1-on-1 Leadership Coaching: We work 1-on-1, where we explore how you approach problems, and stumble in relationship conflicts. I ask the hard questions, and offer skill-building opportunities only where needed. We’ll work on your leadership “range” -- to do what’s needed in the moment, not just what you’ve always done.

You’re more than just a professional title, or limiting identity label. We figure out the full range of how you want to show up in the world.

 

What I work with you on

We focus your limited energy and time for: (1) what you can control, and (2) what you (may) have influence over. We create clarity and confidence on what to do, when you DON’T know what to do.

What you can control: You. How you choose to see the situation. The choices that you make. That’s it.

That means: Operating within your strengths. Knowing your patterns when exploring problems and navigating conflicts. Understanding the system that you’re in, to operate efficiently within it.

What you can (try and) influence: The people you collaborate with, and the systems you are operating in - but only to a certain extent.

That means:

  • Influence: Bringing people along with you, including stakeholders that you need on board for your ideas.

  • Clarity: Everyone’s clear on expectations, and secure commitment around the table.

  • Innovation: Creating Safe-to-Fail conditions so that you activate risk-taking on groundbreaking initiatives.

  • Accountability: In the end, results matter. Stay on track with your project and team purpose. Have the hard, challenging conversations, while building trust.
